This is a time for great measures of productivity – we are not to become distracted from our tasks nor give up our responsibilities. We are to be empowered with our dedication to our tasks and determined to see them through until the end. Completion is important. For breakthroughs to happen we have to be thorough, focused. Yes this is like being in boot-camp; it does have a strong military tone to it – purely because we have to push through the obstacles, face the challenges and overcome the fears to create the best that we can do. We have to prove that we want this breakthrough – the other option is a breakdown. Not much of an option – we either make it or we don’t!
As mentioned in previous blog entries we are to have goals to keep us focused. Your own individual birth-chart will indicate exactly what those goals are to be and how you will be able to manifest, as well as in what manner or matter of time. On a more general note however we can break these goals into smaller targets.
Today being the Spring Equinox here in the Southern Hemisphere, or Autumn Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere, this marks a significant time for goal setting. We can use the zodiac structure to help us with our timing. 1 year is a full zodiac cycle of the Earth going around the Sun, giving a good length of scope to aim our goals upon. Every 3 months we have the seasonal changes – Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox & Winter Solstice, each lasting for 3 months. 90 days is a reasonable amount of time to work upon a smaller goal as the targets are now within reach. Breaking those seasons into months we get the lunar cycle – the Moon takes 29.5 days to go around the Earth. This gives us the pattern of growth and development as it moves through the phases with the increasing (waxing) and decreasing (waning) of the Moon in our sky. Lastly we come to the daily targets that are governed on the length of time that the Earth takes to do one full rotation – a day. From this we can organize our goals into the following:
1 year: 12 months a set goal to achieve over time
1 season 3 months short-term targets
Lunar cycle 1 month ebb & flow of motivation put into a schedule
1 Day 24 hours daily tasks of immediate action
By taking the bigger picture and breaking it into smaller units we are able to manage our time and activities into a scheduled plan. With review points along the way we can assess our progress, making modifications to our next stage of development accordingly. Overall we are to arrive at the destination with all tasks completed. Time to toughen up – get the job done!
